Teen Summer Reading Club

June 17–August 10

Students entering grades 6–12

Summer is the time to read, learn new skills, try some new activities, and have fun! “Adventure Begins at Your Library” is this year’s summer reading club theme.

For each book review submitted, you will receive a raffle ticket to put towards your choice of one of our 12 raffle baskets. All teens will receive a resuable travel utensil kit with carrying case upon completion of their first book review. Items may be picked up at the Teen Centers (while supplies last).

How do I participate?

  • Choose an age-appropriate book to read or listen to.
  • Obtain a “Read, Rate, and Raffle” form in the Teen Centers or at www.nenpl.org/teens.
  • For each book read, you will earn one raffle ticket. Books with more than 250 pages will qualify for two raffle tickets. Be sure to indicate on your “Read, Rate, and Raffle” form which raffle basket you would like to be entered in to win.
  • A prize board with photos of the raffle baskets will be on display in both Teen Centers and on the library website. The drawings will be held at the end of the Summer Reading Club, and winners will be notified by phone the week of August 12.

Prize Basket Themes:

All Things Anime and Comics, Backyard Adventures, A Day at the Beach, Arts and Crafts, Ice Cream Sundaes, Food Adventures, Health and Wellness, JBL Wireless Earbuds, Lots of LEGOS!, Movie Night, Road Trip Adventures, and Writer’s Delight.
