Children (preschool through grade 6) may join the Summer Reading Club anytime throughout the summer at either the East Northport or Northport Library or online at www.nenpl.org. During the first  week (June 18-23) children may report on one book they have read. Throughout the summer, children  may report on books they have read and receive stickers and prizes. A schedule of all summer programs will be available in print and on our website beginning June 4. You may register at either library building or online.

Children’s programs are for Northport-East Northport residents. NENPL Library cardholders will be admitted first. Non-district patrons will be admitted as space permits.

A Note About Program Attendance:
Our goal is to maximize attendance and thereby offer as many Northport-East Northport children as possible the opportunity to enjoy Library programs. We request that you arrive ten minutes before the beginning of a program. If you have not arrived by the start time of the program, your child’s place may be given to someone waiting. Preference will be given to children on the waitlist. If you call to tell us that you will be late, your place will be held. Those registered for a program will be seated first. All others will be seated as space permits.
