55/Alive Mature Driver Program
Offered on a monthly basis, AARP'S Mature Driver Program is open to library card holders who are 50 years of age or older. There is a fee payable to AARP at registration. See the Library newsletter for dates and times.
AARP Income Tax Preparation Assistance for Seniors
AARP counselors, trained by the IRS, are available to provide income tax preparation assistance to seniors during the months of February through April. See the Library newsletter for dates and times.
Blood Pressure Check
The Visiting Nurse Service provides a free blood pressure check at the Library on the first Wednesday of each month. See the Library newsletter for dates and times.
Monthly discussion groups meet at the Library. No registration required. All are welcome. Dates and details are in the Library newsletter. If you have your own book discussion group, a Reference Librarian can get multiple copies of a title for your group. Contact a Reference Librarian for further details.
Bus Trips
Book-A-Trip, our popular, escorted bus trips, take our patrons to places and events of cultural and educational interest. Join us for visits to museums, historical landmarks, plays, and art exhibitions. Dates and times are published in the Library's monthly newsletter.
Computer Classes

Defensive Driving
This six-hour course, which is offered monthly, qualifies motorists for a 10% reduction on collision and liability premiums for three years, and reduction of four points on their driving record. There is a fee for this class. See the Library newsletter for dates and times.
Friday Afternoon at the Movies

Plays, Concerts & Lectures
The Library is the center for lifelong education, enrichment, and entertainment. Professional musical concerts and theatrical performances are regularly featured.
