Computer Resources for Children The Northport-East Northport Public Library offers a wide array of computer services to children by providing computer stations throughout the Children's Room in each building. Age-appropriate learning software and desktop publishing programs are available. A specially designed learning environment for school-aged children located in the Children's Department of the Northport Public Library. Hands-on, interactive items, associated programming, informational pamphlets with book lists, and multimedia presentations provide enrichment environment. Programs The Youth Services department offers a wide variety of programs for preschoolers and children in grades K-5 including storytimes, craft workshops, musical programs, theatrical performances, and the Summer Reading Club.
