The Northport-East Northport Public Library and the Northport-East Northport School District partner in an effort to provide programs and resources to the community. The Parent Center offers informative parenting programs and support groups. An extensive collection of books, on a wide variety of parenting topics, is available at the Library in the Parents Collection. These print resources are maintained at the Northport Library. Each school year brings extensive educational programs facilitated by district counselors, psychologists, social workers, and teachers. Parent Center programs are free-of-charge and all district residents are welcome. Parent Center Programing is largely supported by federal and state grant monies.
