About Us

You can view and renew items you have checked out and activate your Reading History online.

Go to our homepage at www.nenpl.org and click on the word Catalog.

Click on View Your Own Patron Record.

Type your Barcode, which is located on the back of your library card.

Type your PIN Number. A PIN can be any combination of letters or numbers between 6-8 characters long. (When you first create your PIN, you will be asked to re-type your PIN to verify it.)

Within your patron record, you can modify your pin number, change your personal information, view and renew the items you have checked out, view requests outstanding and see your reading history.

Here are your options:

Modify Your Pin

In order to change your PIN, you must first enter your current PIN number. The computer will ask you to enter your new PIN twice for verification. A confirmation window will appear once your PIN has been changed.

Modify Personal Information

You can change or add your email address to your patron record. You can request to receive notices by email from the library.

Items Currently Checked Out

You can view the items you currently have checked out. This screen will tell you the title, status, and call number for each item. You can renew one or all items by marking the title and clicking Renew Selected, or just click Renew All. You can also sort titles by their due date. Those with the nearest due date will appear first.

Requests (Holds) Outstanding

Here you can see the items that you have requested from our library or through Inter-library loan. You will see the title, status, pick-up location and a cancellation date if the request is not filled in a timely fashion. You can cancel your request at any time.

Search the Catalog

This will connect you directly with the County Catalog. You can search by author, title, subject or word. You can also narrow your search by material type, year of publication, language, publisher, and audience.

My Reading History

This allows you to save a history of items you have checked out. The feature is optional and must be enabled before information will be saved. You will be given the option to delete individual entries from your history.
