The courtyard has added 3,000 square feet of outdoor space to the Northport Library building. It has been designed with the flexibility to allow for reading, conversation, Library Cafe seating, children’s storytimes, and library performances and programs. All funds for the Library Courtyard were raised through the generous donations of local businesses, service organizations, and community friends and neighbors.
Two hundred fifty people atttended the official dedication of the courtyard. The donor wall was unveiled and recognition given to all of those who have contributed.
