The Beat Experience . New York: Voyager, 1995.

Created with the participation of the Whitney Museum of American Art, in conjunction with the museum's 1995 Beat Culture and the New America exhibit, this audio-visual compilation aims to bring the Beat movement to life and to demonstrate its lasting influence on American society and culture. It pulls together excerpts from more than 20 underground films; jazz recordings; film, video, and audio clips; photos; texts; and original art.
