DHARMA beat is a semi-annual newsletter that began publication in 1993 with the aim of sharing news of Kerouac events, organizations, publications, and other activities. It also includes short features on aspects of Kerouac's life and work. It is currently in hiatus, but does maintain a website.
MOODY STREET IRREGULARS
During its run from 1978 until 1994, this enlightening newsletter was dedicated to Kerouac. It contained short pieces by Kerouac and other Beat writers, literary criticism, book reviews, coverage of Beat events, photographs, and artwork related to the Beat movement. Back issues are often listed in Kerouac bookstore catalogs.
