High School Fashion Show
(N) Friday, May 16, 7:00-8:00 p.m.
Fashion Week comes to Northport Library! If you enjoy TV's Project Runway then you'll want to see the fashions designed by students from Northport High School. They have created garments inspired by Coco Chanel's "little black dress" for the Fashion Design and Illustration class taught by Robin O'Neill-Gonzalez. These aspiring fashion deisgners have created, cut, and sewn their own versions of the cocktail dress. Models will strut down the catwalk to the beat of music chosen by the student designers. There will be fashion illustrations and garments by other students on view. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Teen volunteer opportunities are open to students in grades 7-12. Registration is limited to only one opportunity per person in addition to the Teen Advisory Board. Registration begins May 1 at the East Northport Library. Your teen library card is required at registration.
