Children birth–entering grade 6
Sign up for beanstack at https://nenpl.beanstack.org/
For babies and toddlers ages birth to 2 years old:
- Sign up on Beanstack or at the Children’s Reference Desk.
- Each participant will receive an NENPL tote bag for signing up.
- Read 30 books with your child and log them on Beanstack to complete the challenge and earn a special prize!
For children 3 years to entering 6th grade
- Sign up for the challenge on Beanstack or in-person at the Summer Reading Club Desk.
- Each child will receive an NENPL tote bag, as well as a necklace or backpack ring and Brag Tag to start your collection!
- Log your time spent reading on Beanstack and stop by the Summer Reading Club Desk to talk about your books.
- Choose a Brag Tag for each hour you log on Beanstack. There are over 50 designs to choose from!
- After reading and logging 3 hours, you’ll earn a book to keep!
- After completing 6 hours, you’ll receive a completion prize and a ticket to see the special show Grins and Grins: Catchy Comedy on one of the following dates: Monday, August 11 at 4:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. or Tuesday, August 12 at 4:00 p.m.
- Earn a raffle ticket for every hour you read for a chance to win a Kindle Fire or other great prizes. The more you read, the more chances you get!
Summer Reading Club Desk Hours:
Monday-Friday 9:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m. and Saturday 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Children 3 years and up
Don’t miss this fast-paced variety show featuring magic, ventriloquism, “daring” feats of balance, circus skills, and more! Tickets to one of the three show times are issued to children who complete the Summer Reading Club.
