A limited edition lithograph by Sandra Kuck hangs in the main lobby of the East Northport library. It was donated by the family and friends of Mary Smith, dedicated staff member 1991-2001.

The world's most famous and beloved image of a bibliophile,
"The Bookworm" [Der Buecherwurm] was painted in oil on
canvas by German artist Carl Spitzweg in 1850. A reprint of this painting is located above the fireplace in the East Northport Library.

The Tile Mural of Old East Northport

Celebrating the agrarian history of East Northport, The Tile Mural of Old East Northport graces the Main Reading Room in the East Northport Library. The mural was created by East Northport tile artist Esther Tollen and funded by community members whose names are printed on tiles adjacent to the mural.
