Lowell Celebrates Kerouac

Lowell Celebrates Kerouac! Inc. (LCK!) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote a better understanding and appreciation of Jack Kerouac’s life and literature. The October Festival features tours of Kerouac’s Lowell places – including many sites described in his Lowell-based novels.

Collection of works and artifacts pertaining to the Beat Generation, it's writers, poets, artists and their offspring. The museum contains an expanding gallery of artworks and artifacts on the Beat culture.


The Beat Museum

The Beat Museum is home to an extensive collection of Beat memorabilia, including original manuscripts and first editions, letters, personal effects and cultural ephemera. Located in San Francisco’s North Beach neighborhood, we occupy the same ground that was once the epicenter for Beat activity during the 1950s.
