This little girl is absorbed in all the stories she loves to read.  Eyes fixated on the page, she reads with ardent interest over the stories that come to life for her. 

This statue is on display in the East Northport Children's Room and was a gift to the children of Northport-East Northport in loving memory of Beatrice Birn, Librarian 1971-2002.
