Join artist Kathleen Deyo for a celebration of Chinese brushwork painting. You will learn the basic marks, how to use rice paper, and all about Chinese brushes and ink. As you paint, hear the history of this ancient art form. All materials are supplied. Participants are encouraged to wear old clothes or bring smocks. A $5 materials fee (cash or check payable to Northport-East Northport Public Library) is due at the time of registration. In-person registration begins January 8.
