Lecturer Marc Courtade will explore the life and career of Clark Gable, "The King of Hollywood." Beginning as an extra in the 1920s, he soon rose to the top and was a leading man in over 60 films in 30 years. Best known for playing Rhett Butler in Gone with the Wind, he was equally adept in comedies and dramas and garnered an Academy Award for It Happened One Night.
