Glass Gems of the Sea

Join a docent from the Whaling Museum & Education Center in Cold Spring Harbor and learn how to identify shards of sea glass by color and appearance by examining historic glass bottles. Then design and create a nautical shadow box scene using genuine sea glass from Long Island Sound. A $5 materials fee (cash or check payable to "Northport-East Northport Public Library") is due at the time of registration. In-person registration begins May 23.
