Jellyfish have received a lot of attention on Long Island in recent years. "The blobs of summer" (as one researcher coined them) - with their painful stings and net-clogging tendencies - seem to turn everybody against them. Dr. Marianne McNamara, Professor of Biology at Suffolk County Community College, will explore how research is helping us better understand the role of this marine predator. Registration is underway.
