Out of the ashes of the British occupation and Evacuation Day in November 1783 at the American Revolution's end, New York City emerged as the first capital of the United States. Join a docent from The New York Historical and explore the transformation from a British colony into the largest and wealthiest city in America. Registration is underway. This program is cosponsored with the public libraries in the Town of Huntington.
