A Community Nutrition Educator from Long Island Cares will offer tips for a successful farmers market trip, explore the benefits of shopping at a farmers market, and indicate where local markets can be found. Learn how to properly store produce for maximum shelf life and freshness, and enjoy a demonstration and sampling of apple and celery salad. Registration is underway.
