What was daily life like for a Black tenement family in the 1860s? Join an educator from the Tenement Museum for a virtual tour of the home of Joseph and Rachel Moore, recreated for the Museum's most recent exhibit A Union of Hope: 1869. By seeing where the Moores lived, worked, and worshipped, you will explore the experience of Black New Yorkers in a city transformed by the Civil War, emancipation, and the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments. Registration is underway.
